Product Manager

711 is a Belgian iGaming and technology company headquartered in Bruges, offering online casino and sports betting services. The company builds on more than 30 years of experience in the Belgian gambling market.

From this strong foundation, the international brand 711 Sport & Casino was developed. Following a successful launch in the Netherlands (2022) and further expansion (2024), 711 is now growing into an international player with ambitious plans across multiple regulated markets.

With a team of over 90 employees, 711 is in a strong scale-up phase, with a clear focus on innovation, product development and international expansion.

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Product Manager with strong payments expertise to join our team in Malta. This is a Malta-based position, working from our office in St. Julian’s, where you will be part of our growing local organisation while collaborating closely with our Head of Product and wider Group Product team in Belgium.

In this role, you will take ownership of the day-to-day product experience for our MGA-regulated casino business and play an important role in shaping its further development.

You will combine broad iGaming product management experience with practical knowledge of payments, payment providers and integrations. You will help shape the product roadmap, optimise the player journey and translate commercial, customer and regulatory requirements into effective product solutions.

As our Malta operation continues to grow, you will play an important role in developing and scaling our product proposition across the MGA business and future regulated markets.

About the role

As Product Manager, you will be the on-the-ground product contact for our Malta business and act as an important link between the local organisation and our wider Group Product and Technology teams.

You will manage the day-to-day product experience for our MGA-regulated casino sites and work closely with the Head of Product to shape the roadmap and ensure Malta business requirements, commercial priorities and regulatory considerations are appropriately represented.

A key part of the role is payments. You will bring hands-on experience working with payment service providers and payment integrations and use that expertise to support both day-to-day product decisions and the development of the longer-term payment strategy for 711 Group.

You will work across the full player journey, from registration and verification through deposits, gameplay and withdrawals to account closure, continuously looking for opportunities to improve acquisition, conversion, retention and overall customer experience.

You will collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Payments, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Finance, Marketing and Customer Support, as well as external platform, game, payment and technology providers.

In addition to your Product Management responsibilities, you will assume the role of Technology Key Function holder for the Malta licensed entity, as required by the MGA. In this capacity, you will take on the relevant responsibilities associated with the Technology Key Function and work closely with the Malta CEO, Compliance, Technology and other key stakeholders to support the entity in meeting its regulatory obligations.

This is a hands-on product role for someone who enjoys combining product ownership, analysis and stakeholder management with practical delivery in a fast-moving, regulated environment.

You will report directly to the Head of Product, based in Belgium, and work closely with the Malta CEO.

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with the Head of Product and wider Group Product team on the roadmap for the MGA business, ensuring local market needs, commercial priorities and regulatory requirements are represented.

  • Identify opportunities to improve player acquisition, conversion, retention and overall customer experience.

  • Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories and priorities.

  • Manage the MGA product backlog and prioritisation, balancing commercial value, customer experience, technical feasibility and regulatory requirements.

  • Work closely with Group Product, Engineering and external platform teams to ensure the timely delivery of product initiatives.

  • Monitor product performance and player behaviour, using data, feedback and insights to identify opportunities for optimisation.

  • Coordinate product launches, enhancements and changes across relevant internal and external stakeholders.

  • Continuously optimise the full player journey, from registration and verification through deposits, gameplay and withdrawals to account closure.

Payments & payment integrations

  • Act as the day-to-day product point of contact for payment-related initiatives within the MGA business.

  • Use your hands-on experience with payment providers and integrations to inform product and payment decisions.

  • Support the Head of Product in developing the long-term payment strategy for 711 Group.

  • Work with PSPs, payment providers, platform teams and internal stakeholders on the integration and optimisation of payment methods.

  • Support the onboarding and implementation of new payment methods appropriate for our target markets.

  • Define and document payment requirements covering deposits, withdrawals, refunds, chargebacks and payment flows.

  • Monitor payment performance, including approval rates, conversion, transaction failures and player experience, and identify issues and opportunities for improvement.

  • Work closely with Risk, Fraud, Compliance and Finance to ensure payment flows support operational and regulatory requirements.

MGA & regulatory product requirements

  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of MGA regulatory requirements as they apply to product, payments and player protection.

  • Ensure product requirements and solutions take account of applicable MGA regulations and internal policies.

  • Work closely with Compliance and Legal to translate regulatory requirements into practical product solutions.

  • Ensure relevant Responsible Gaming, KYC, AML, player protection and regulatory controls are appropriately reflected in the product.

  • Support the implementation of regulatory changes and ensure required product changes are delivered within the appropriate timelines.

  • Maintain appropriate product documentation and evidence for regulatory and internal governance purposes.

Stakeholder management

  • Work closely with the Head of Product and Malta CEO to ensure business requirements, commercial priorities and regulatory considerations are appropriately reflected in the product roadmap.

  • Collaborate across Group Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Payments, Finance, Marketing and Customer Support.

  • Coordinate with external platform, game, payment and technology providers.

  • Act as the local product contact for the Malta business, ensuring local needs and requirements are represented within Group priorities.

  • Clearly communicate priorities, dependencies, risks and delivery status to the Head of Product, Malta CEO and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Build strong working relationships across both the Malta and wider Group organisation.

MGA Technology Key Function

  • Assume the role of Technology Key Function holder for the Malta licensed entity, as required by the MGA.

  • Fulfil the responsibilities associated with the Technology Key Function and act as a key point of contact for technology-related regulatory matters within the Malta entity.

  • Work closely with the Malta CEO, Compliance, Technology and other relevant stakeholders to ensure technology-related regulatory responsibilities are appropriately addressed.

  • Support the Malta entity in maintaining appropriate technology governance, oversight, documentation and controls.

  • Support relevant MGA regulatory interactions, audits, reviews and information requests relating to the Technology Key Function.

  • Ensure material technology-related matters, risks and dependencies are appropriately identified, communicated and escalated.
